Earlier this year, we announced that our Ember webservice had been acquired. After spending several months trying to figure out the best way to move the service to its new home, we've come to the difficult decision to close Ember.
Starting today, we're no longer offering new Ember accounts and we will be removing upload support from the Ember site (and API) on 30th July. The service will be switched off on 30th September.
Data Export
Whilst almost all users are uploading to Ember from LittleSnapper we know that some users will want to save images from the service. If there's any images on Emberapp.com that you wish to save to your LittleSnapper library, you can do so by clicking "Export to LittleSnapper" option next to any image on the Ember site.
Refunds
Of course, some of you will have bought Ember Pro subscriptions and no doubt be wondering what this means for you. If you purchased an Ember Pro subscription (or renewal) on or after 1st January 2011 we're in the process of issuing you a full refund to your original payment method. Once this has been processed you'll receive a receipt from our store to confirm this, though please bear with us as we sort this as the support team are currently issuing these by hand!
