Meet Team Realmac

Based in Brighton, England. Dan lives with his wife and baby daughter (who he wasn't allowed to call Apple, despite his best efforts!).
After too many years working in London, Dan finally plucked up the courage to wave goodbye to the bright lights and steady 9-5 job to make Realmac Software a full-time venture.
On the official paperwork Dan is the Director of Realmac Software, but he is more commonly know as the “Big Chief". When he’s not coding in Cocoa or doing graphic design, he can be found making the tea or planning The Next Big Thing!
If you need to contact Dan (and it's not a support question) you can email him here.

Brought up in a small town just outside Brighton, Ben’s Dad and three older brothers instilled an unhealthy obsession of everything Mac in him from a young age.
He joined the Big Chief full-time at Realmac HQ a few years back when RapidWeaver was just an infant and raised him as one of my own ever since.
When he’s at his Mac he’s taking care of this website, creating RapidWeaver themes and planning awesome new web apps! Away from the Mac you're most likely to find him taking photos, keeping goal for his local football team and sleeping.

Aron has been working with Realmac Software for almost a year. Educated thoroughly in the world of the internets by Dan and Ben, he now helps build new themes, maintain the various websites and generally tries to make RapidWeaver awesome.
When not assembling websites, Aron enjoys watching the odd band, taking photographs and listening to records. It’s an exciting life here in the big city.
Also he would like to take this opportunity to request that should anyone happen to have a particularly fine recipe for New York cheesecake, he would be much obliged if you could pass it on.

Danny spends most of his day in Xcode delving through documentation and source code, squashing bugs and coding new features. He is, after all, part of our cocoa development team.
He joined Realmac after spending almost a year as an indie Mac developer, having developed BitClamp as well as being part of the Latitude browser team and various other, Mac-related, projects.
When he’s not programming he enjoys relaxing with a good beer, playing one of his guitars far too loud, expending some energy playing sport, SCUBA diving, gaming, blogging and podcasting as half of the cocoaFusion: mac programming podcast.
Born in Scotland, Keith forms part of the office Cocoa team. He spent a year studying Engineering at university before dropping out to pursue full time Mac development.
When he’s not writing code at the headquarters, or in the pub with the rest of Team Realmac, you'll find him writing code at home or reading a good book. He's an avid cat lover (and has a sizeable LittleSnapper collection dedicated to lolcats).
He’s particularly passionate about open source code and publishes quite a bit of his work online, always up for a challenge and enjoys a cold beer after work.

Nik joined Realmac in October 2007 after nearly three years as a RapidWeaver user. In that time he's worked in various areas at HQ including PR, and is now responsible for Customer Support and Software QA. He acts as the gatekeeper for our products to make sure that every release is as stable, reliable and user-friendly as possible.
Away from the office, Nik enjoys a cold beer with friends, and a spot of freelance writing. Having previously written for The Unofficial Apple Weblog (TUAW), he currently writes for Download Squad and very occasionally contributes to the Guardian newspaper's Technology supplement.
The latest addition to the Realmac support team, Luke works with Nik answering queries, testing bug fixes and creating documentation. Making the user experience as super happy friendly as possible.
Luke moved to Brighton two years ago and hasn't looked back. He spends most of his time playing in more bands than he physically has time for as well as designing the occasional website.
Luke is also a natural history geek, with a particular interest in amphibians. He enjoys nothing more than curling up on the sofa with his wife and watching a documentary about the breeding cycle of newts.
Meet The Freelancers

A self-professed Super Mario Junkie during his formative years Kevin has since recovered and learned to control his mushroom related urges. He's worked on projects for Windows, Macintosh and even a few Nintendo consoles all the while keeping a Mac at home for his personal use.
After leaving his job with Nintendo, Kevin bounced around Asia and eventually settled in Kyoto, Japan where he spent all together too much time teaching English. While he really should be making more of an effort to improve his Japanese, these days he spends his free time training in MMA, snowboarding and watching movies.

Assembled in Lincoln, Nebraska (with parts Made in the USA), Josh heads the North American branch of Realmac’s engineering team. Part of the team for almost 3 years now, his natural affinity towards Apple computers and well-designed software makes him a perfect fit at Realmac.
Josh loves indie software, writing code, and designing beautiful user interfaces. When not plugged in, he enjoys hanging out with his two mini-robots, Harlie and Peter, making music, cooking, and biking. He also has a weakness for Italian motorcycles and good wine, but he still refuses to wear a two piece for Andre.
