Hi this is my first website and I am interested in a way for me to use block builder as with blocks o create a drop down menu for my site. If anyone knows any add on or ways for me to do this would be a great help.

I’ve been asked to have a series of gif images appear and disappear on the page over a period of time, creating a colorful, ever-interesting mosaic. Is this at all possible in Rapidweaver? Thank you very much!

Need help changing color of footer in CSS?

Hi Guys,

I’m developing a new site for a commercial client of mine and I have chosen the theme “habitat” from http://www.gwdithemes.com/. It is a beautiful theme and I have successfully changed most of the page to fit my photoshop mock-up design with the exception of the footer. I have been digging through the CSS for hours trying to figure this out and I am stumped. I simply want to make the footer yellow like the header. But, to my unfortunate surprise, the developer of the theme did not include this option in the “styles” for the page inspector. I was rather dumb founded that this option was not included. I have provided a link to the development site and a link to my Photoshop mock-up below. Please help! Thanks.

BlocksBox prob - SOLVED

Hey everyone, new Rapidweaver user here. I’m trying to design a layout with BlocksBox and I’m finding that images I place get cut off if they’re about 5 pixels from the edge. Attached is a picture to try and illustrate this.

There might be an obvious fix, but I can’t figure it out and as I said I’m new to all this. So, Any ideas? I’m really loving BlockBox and all the things Rapidweaver can do otherwise!

Payloom/PayPal integration

I would really appreciate advice from those who have successfully integrated PayPal and Payloom. I created my site and shop, then went into my PayPal account and entered the requested settings. The FAQs for Payloom seem to suggest this is all I need to do, but feel I should test my handiwork before the site goes live.

I have spent a ridiculous amount of time today trying to do this using PayPal’s sandbox/test area. Despite tech support claims to the contrary, can’t seem to get in without first agreeing to pay an ongoing monthly fee of $30 for their premium service, which I don’t want.

My question is this, what have others done to test their site’s connection to PayPal and how have they done it?

Many thanks!

4.1.2 release 2 archiving

Thanks so much for the new archiving feature built into 4.1.2. Great addition!

Unfortunately I’m having a hard time finding where this is stored on my hard drive. This is what was given as the address:

The archiving directory location is: ~/Library/com.realmacsoftware.rapidweaverpro/SandwichArchiving/

However, I see no such location under my user library or general library. I think a folder or two are missing from the path name, but not sure exactly what. I’ve looked in the Preferences folder (both Libraries) to no avail.

Can someone help about exactly where the archives are saved?

Building Navigation in Blocksbox

Can anyone give me some help with this?

I have a navigation design and thought to assemble it in Blocksbox by cropping each tab, then dragging the images into the theme. So for 5 nav items, there would be 10 images. I can muddle through some css and html but I’m wondering if there is a more efficient way of doing this? Especially if the client wants quick navigation changes.

Thanks.

Aaron

Publishing to coolhandle.com (moniker.com)

I already posted this on the “questions” forum, but thought I should give it run over here as well:

Hello friends,

I am trying to publish a website I made on 3.6.7 to coolhandle, which is my web host. Everything looks like it goes fine from the rapidweaver side, but nothing shows up on my website (http://www.petehsu.com).

I contacted coolhandle, and they said it was probably an “indexing problem” and that I should contact rapidweaver.

I am wondering if I have the right server and site path information.

Any ideas would be very welcome!

Thanks,
Pete
