Hello and welcome to the Realmac Software Forums,

You may have noticed that we have a shiny new forum over here at Realmac HQ. This decision was made due to the issues we were having with our previous forum being extremely slow and prone to heavy spamming. So now we have a shiny new Expression Engine powered forum hosted on a dedicated server which should ensure everything runs smoothly for everyone.

If you’re a new user and looking for somewhere to start let me provide a quick overview of the main Forums.

Realmac Software

Here is a place to gleam the latest news from the RapidWeaver community. The Announcements forum is always brimming with new themes and plugins as well as official Realmac news.

Community Forums

This is a place for our users to chat amongst themselves about all things RapidWeaver. Perhaps you have a question about a particular feature or are looking for a bit of design advice? The community forums are full of friendly people who are as passionate about RapidWeaver as we are.

The Tips, Tricks and How To’s forum is a particularly useful area full of user tutorials covering a wide range of web design topics from Javascript lightboxes to building Questionnaires.

Technical Support Forums

Finally we come to the Technical Support Forums, this area is devoted to offering support for RapidWeaver. It is split into two sections the top half being RapidWeaver only enquiries while the lower half is devoted to third party themes and plugins. This area is watched by Realmac Staff during our working hours, if you have any queries or problems with RapidWeaver please leave us a message and we will get back to you as soon as possible.

The decision to use a forum based support system will hopefully allow the Technical Support forum to become an open database of information regarding RapidWeaver. So if you do have a query please do try a search of the existing forum posts before you create a new one. Chances are your question may already have been answered.

This has been a very quick overview of some of the key areas of the forum, there are many more but I’ll leave you to explore them for yourselves.

Thanks for stopping by.

Cheers,

Aron and the Realmac Team
