MAGAZINE is my most versatile RapidWeaver theme until now. It hardly looks as a standard RW website.
It has many Theme Styles and two optional EXTRACONTENT Containers: you can add a Banner (with the built-in backgrounds and transparent PNG-images, BANNERZEST or your own image) and ExtraContent above the Footer.
By default the theme has the Sidebar at the left side and the SidebarHeader (you can hide this) at the right side. Between them is the Content.
One of the most striking features is the Banner in 4 different heights: you can add text and/or images on of the transparent built-in images, for example a camera, a button, a paper or whatever. I’ve added extra 117 Banner Images in the downloadfile, but of course you can design your own image too. The Manual explains how to fix this.
You can style this ExtraContent area in the Theme Styles and with the extra Banner Snippet in the Custom CSS of RW.
The Theme has several Content widths and comes with three different menus: a DROPDOWNMENU, a SPLITMENU and a DUALMENU (this one shows that a Magazine website also can have a clean and professional look).
These are only a few of the many Theme Styles. The demosite shows some of the almost infinite variations.
