New Theme: CONTENT with ExtraContent and more…
Posted: 23rd February 2009 05:36 PM

I’ve made a new theme CONTENT.

contentec.png

The CONTENT Split and CONTENT Dual themes look very similar to the Magazine themes.
The difference is that they have fewer Theme Styles and no built-in images, although you can still add background-images to the ExtraContainer and other areas with the Page Assets and some CSS. That’s why this theme (up)loads very fast.

CONTENT has one additional ExtraContent area: between the TopMenu and the Title/Slogan. So CONTENT has 3 ExtraContent Containers (see image above)
This demosite shows only a few pages, but both themes work with all plugins.

To get the people who aren’t fully convinced of ExtraContent yet across, I’ve created these rather simple but elegant themes for an equally elegant price of $12.- USD.
BTW, this is an ExtraContent tutorial by Adam Merrifield.

Wow Henk,
lots of variations again.
I just looked at it, played with it and the new theme gives me lots of way changing the ground design.

I love the build in MediaBox! Smile

That’s a good one for doing it the manual way, but don’t forget that ExtraContent themes can now be used with the ExtraContent Stack, making ExtraContent that much more powerful for all of us. Your clients will appreciate this one.

Henk - do you ever sleep?!  I’ve been playing with this one for a couple of hours now - it’s like Magazine on a diet.  I LOVE it!

Adam - thanks to you as well.  I know I’ll appreciate it...once I learn it!

Cheers!  Dave

Thanks Adam. I’ve added this link and the manual about ExtraContentStack to my Theme manual now.
