New site, software release, and a freebie, too.

Hi all.
Augur Software has just released eTopia. Check out the new site. I am already thinking about changing it, but I will resist the temptation as best I can. I need to add a training video section, though.

What do you think of the site? Is it too basic? Any suggestions?

BTW, if you download the demo, it includes a free copy of eCalculator, eClipboard, and Notes.

The calculator is very cool. The best I have ever seen. (It is editable and can be duplicated). eClipboard is useful for when you are coding. It acts like a multiple clipboard application, and is great for when you are futzing with code. Notes is like a multipage notebook, and is useful for storing all kinds of text info. You can’t beat the price. Smile

The front page is a Blocks page, and the only problem I have encountered thus far is that if you enlarge the text too much, you can end up cutting off the copy in one of the blocks. Is there a way to adjust for that?

Well, I started with a stacks page, but I couldn’t figure our how to get the elements to place. Specifically, how to change the size and alignment of the stack relative to other stacks. There seem to be some missing controls.

I had a quick look, and I can’t see any reason you couldn’t do that with Stacks; you might have a tiny problem with that bottom right bit that spans two columns, but at least it would have enlarged gracefully, even if it didn’t look exactly like what you have at the moment. If I get a chance, I’ll try it myself, with your content.

Nice site! What’s the little snippet you used for the automated text on your home page?

Sorry, took a while. I managed to make your front page in Stacks; some of the spacing is a bit out, but that’s just because I don’t have time to adjust it finely; it would be fine though, with a bit more work:
