New Theme: PRESTIGIOUS
Posted: 08th November 2008 07:21 AM

I’m proud to announce my newest theme PRESTIGIOUS. It looks clean and very professional and has a ton of variations and built-in BannerZest*.

prest.jpg

Prestigious has a SplitMenu: the first level of navigation is always horizontal and displays at the top of the page.  For second level navigation, you decide if you’d prefer it vertically in the sidebar (this choice allows for further sub-levels of navigation) or horizontally below the header image (this choice is limited to two levels of navigation).

Some of the other Theme Variations:
• 5 different built-in headerimages and the ability to add 10 custom header images, either your own or choose from the 65 extra header images supplied with the theme.
• 11 different transparent effects on the header image and the ability to use your custom effect on the header image.
• White or Black Background (see image above).
• Different Title and Slogan Positions.
• The submenu in the sidebar (left or right, with more sublevels) or below the header image (no sublevels).
• Many width options (550px through 960px)
• Many color picker features
• Different font variations
• Different body background patterns built right into the theme. 10 are built right in and you can also add your own
• and much more

* Prestigious is ready for a BannerZest flash header: see this tutorial page by Brian Morgan and visit his “Reference” page to get a 20% Rapidweaver users’ discount on Bannerzest or Bannerzest Pro.
I’ve built CSS into this theme that will position your Bannerzest header banner in just the right location whether you select sidebar left, sidebar right or no sidebar at all. All you need to do is make your banner the right size. And with a radio button to the Page Inspector Style you can choice to turn the banner on or off on a page by page basis. Try and buy BannerZest, make a nice banner (it’s very easy!), paste the code in the index.html, preview your page and get excited, just as I was the first time!

Turn your pictures into a flash slideshow with a few simple clicks! BannerZest banners are extremely easy to place in your Rapidweaver project or social websites. It’s the easiest way to make professional-looking slideshows.  Don’t settle for an ordinary looking web site… add some pizzazz!!
The demosite shows only one of the many possibilites of a BannerZest header (Thanks Brian, for all your help).

The downloadfile includes the Theme, a ReadMe file with a tutorial and extra scripts, 4 Accordion Title Images (black and white) and 65 extra beautiful header images. But you can use your own images too of course!

Thanks Brian (Morgan), David (Hidding), Ed (Brenner) and Barry (McCullough) for all your help and comments!

This theme is updated. There are two Prestigious themes now: PRESTIGIOUS-A and PRESTIGIOUS-B

Henk ... were you holding out ... I didn’t see the BZ Header in the file you sent. Great addition!

The name of the Theme says it all - Prestigious!

When I got this from Henk to take a look at it was amazing. Like all his Themes. Crisp, sharp, and minimal on the surface. I had a great time playing with it.

Another must have from an Excellent Theme Designer.

Thanks Ed.
I would like to add the code in the index.html, but in that case all buyers use my bandwidth Smile

And you’ve included a few Accordion Headers for the color scheme.

Outstanding!

A minute ago I’ve added a BannerZest code for a demo flash header to the ReadMe file (another one than the flash header om the demosite) to try it immedately after purchasing the theme.
Paste this code in the index.html, save the file and preview your page…

Brilliant as usual Henk. A combination of a great new Theme with the wow factor of Bannerzest.

What I especially like is, the Prestigious Theme on it’s own is sophisticated and packed full of great options, but with the additional possibility of using a ‘Bannerzest Header Effect’ it makes Prestigious such a powerful package!

Your work is superb.

Thanks Henk,

Barry

Nice Theme Smile

I have one more question to Bannerzest. I tried it and it works really easy and looks great Smile

Can I integrate it in every RW - theme/ RW- site?

I think, it would be great for my Kundengalerie.

I use theme Gallery from Elixier Graphics.

Thank’s, Annette

Henk,

In my book, your simply the best designer of themes.

Great looking theme, and valid CSS as well! I didn’t dig into the code, but all the theme preview pages I looked at had invalid XHTML with a load of errors. Is it the BannerZest code?

Best regards,
-Brett

BannerZest banners can be integrated into the middle of pages, and a lot of theme headers too. I don’t have the specified theme to hand so can’t give specific instructions, but I’m sure it should be possible.

with best regards,
Karn.

I’m proud to announce my newest theme PRESTIGIOUS. It looks clean and very professional and has a ton of variations and built-in BannerZest*.

An outstanding theme, Henk! In addition to simply being beautiful, you’ve built in a ton of styles, including the ability to pad the content.  And, the ability to EASILY drop in a BannerZest header is fantastic. This is a must have theme (in fact, I just revamped one of my sites using this theme - if anyone wants to see a live site using Prestigious, point your browser to http://thinkofdave.com).  It took me about one minute to drop the BannerZest banner into the site.

Congratulations on a spectacular theme.

Dave

PS - I love the fact that you’ve added “HV” before the name - it will make it so much easier to find your themes once they are all renamed!

Hey Annette,

Like Karn said, the BannerZest banners can be positioned throughout your RW project,… main content area, sidebar and in some themes, the header position. I’ve got an entire site built to show RW users how to put these bannerZest banners into their theme’s header position.  it’s here.  I did look at the theme you mentioned and it does NOT lend itself to a nice addition of the banner into the header image position.  There are conflicts with the navigation system.

Hope this helps,

Brian
