3 years of themes, 3 years of memories
Back in the late spring of 2005 I came across a little app called ButtonBuilder which I needed to make myself some web buttons in short order. One of the sales hooks of that great little app was that it makes great buttons to be used the companies other app, RapidWeaver. I checked it out and never looked back.
RapidWeaver and the 3rd developers that surrounded it were a different beast then from today. Their weren’t many theme developers; Blueball Design, Mutithemes, RWT, Bench Design, New Ending Studio, Jorn Lutgen… oh and Med Design too. While I have seen many developer come and go, there has been a core group of us who I’ve come to know as friends. Some developers have continually come through to help solve problems for each other, develop new techniques together and lend a hand in support when needed.

Rapid Ideas - You were the godfather of theme options! The first guy to put out a 3.2 theme with over 250,000 different combinations! A tough act to follow.
Josh Lockhart - You might be one of the few developers who gets more excited by words like ROR, Cake and AJAX than me! Thanks for being a fellow geek and a damn fine theme designer.
Med Design - As one of the originals your presence always served as a reminder of what one could do as a 3rd Party developer. Here’s to the future…
