The LittleSnapper Browser Bookmarklet
The LittleSnapper browser bookmarklet allows you to capture any webpage you're browsing without having to have LittleSnapper - or the LittleSnapper menu item - open on your Mac. It even works in beta browsers such as Chrome, that don't yet allow us a way to figure out the page you're currently visiting.
There are two different bookmarklets available: one that will tell LittleSnapper to capture the current page, and one to open the current page in the LittleSnapper browser.
Installation Instructions
Installing either of the two bookmarklets is super simple: just drag the links below to your browser's bookmark bar and follow any prompts from your browser. To use the bookmarklet when browsing the Internet, just click on it to send the current URL to LittleSnapper.
Save to LittleSnapper ~ Open in LittleSnapper
The 'Save to LittleSnapper' bookmarklet requires LittleSnapper 1.6.1+, with the ‘Open in LittleSnapper' bookmarklet requiring LittleSnapper 1.6+
The LittleSnapper Safari Extension
The LittleSnapper Safari extension includes all the functionality of our new bookmarklet below, as well as the ability to add a 'Snap' button to the Safari address field. As Safari Extensions aren't enabled by default, you'll need to follow the instructions below to ensure you enable Safari Extensions and then install the LittleSnapper extension.
Enabling Safari Extensions
- Go to the Safari preferences window, by clicking the Safari menu -> Preferences
- Switch to the Advanced tab and, at the bottom, check the 'Show Develop menu in the menu bar' option
- Go to the Develop menu you now have in the window bar.
- Click the 'Enable Extensions' option.
- Now that you've enabled extensions in Safari, download the LittleSnapper Safari Extension. The LittleSnapper Safari Extension requires LittleSnapper 1.6.1 or later and will not work with older versions of LittleSnapper
Install the LittleSnapper Extension
To install the Safari Extension just double-click the downloaded .safariextz file. Safari will prompt you to install the extension:

It'll also add an icon to your toolbar (you can remove by customising the Safari toolbar):
