What do you use LittleSnapper for?
In general, I've been using it to catalogue examples of inspirational, original, beautiful web design, but recently I've been doing this with the explicit purpose of collecting inspiration for others to use: I'm currently writing a book and a large part of that references inspiration 'pools', which I'm creating with LittleSnapper / Flickr.
What is your favourite feature?
“LittleSnapper has provided me with a great tool that's both pleasurable and beneficial to use.
I love the DOM-snapping feature, as I've recently been looking for very specific things like 'navigation' inspiration. The DOM-snapping has allowed me to quickly focus in on that part of a site without having to worry about snapping the whole page unnecessarily.
I know it sounds simple, but the integration with Flickr is probably one of my favourite things about the app; I think it's great that you guys realised the invaluable nature of Flickr, and as cool as the Ember service it is, I really appreciate not being tied into a proprietary image-sharing site. The built-in FTP support is also a great feature.
Which features have been the most useful?
It's great that website URLs are automatically added to the image description and marked up as links. It's a small thing, but it saves so much time!
How has your workflow improved?
It's made me become a lot more organised with my inspiration collections. Before I was doing it casually but LittleSnapper has provided me with a great tool that's both pleasurable and beneficial to use.
Anything else you'd like to add?
Because I'm a sucker for all things pretty, I really fell in love with the way LittleSnapper looks; the attention to detail and the lovely Apple-ness it has. Plus the fact that it works fantastically well is always a bonus!
