Even Smarter Snapping

With LittleSnapper it’s easy to start capturing webpages and your desktop. From entire webpages - including the bits that are out of view in a standard browser window - to specific windows on your Mac, no matter what you need to capture LittleSnapper can handle it.

Website Capture

Regardless of whether you use Safari, Firefox, Camino, OmniWeb, Flock or Opera you can capture the page you’re currently visiting straight to your library without leaving your browser. You can also send the current webpage to the built-in LittleSnapper Browser.

No matter how you choose to snap the page, LittleSnapper always stores the page’s title and web-address alongside the image for future reference and library organisation.

Built-in Browsing & Element Snapping

Capturing an entire webpage is great, but what if you only want to snap a particular page element - such as a registration form - for future reference?dom_snapping

Instead of forcing you to use crosshairs and select an area, we’ve built a super-smart browser into LittleSnapper that allows you to select and snap page elements by simply rolling over them with your mouse - just like Safari’s WebClip feature.

Import your Existing Snaps

If you’re anything like us, you’ve already got a folder (or dozen) full of web and screensnaps on your Mac that you’d like to bring into your library.

Simply point LittleSnapper to the folder holding your existing snaps, and they’re added to your library. If you’ve already built sub-folders of snaps LittleSnapper can import the images and automatically create collections in the library based on your existing folder structure.

Capture Your Desktop

In LittleSnapper 1.5, we’ve totally re-built the screen capture tools from the ground up with our own screenshot engine. As you would expect, we’ve improved the full-screen and window-snapping modes - introducing the much-requested timed full-screen option - and the area snap feature gives you a fully-customisable set of drag handles to let you select a specific area of the screen.

  • Screen Capture

LittleSnapper features a brand-new screensnapping engine that lets you capture areas, full-screen and windows with ease.

You can also select multiple windows and LittleSnapper will 'comp' them into one snap.

  • Webpage Capture

LittleSnapper lets you capture full webpages directly from Safari, Firefox, Camino, Flock, Opera and OmniWeb.

You can also select page elements using the built-in browser.

We also know that you love to take snaps of OS X windows without the distraction of a background, so we’ve also built in a handy new window capture option that allows you to capture multiple windows in quick succession and have the snaps either merged into one image, or individually placed in your library. We even know the names of the windows you're capturing and now store the window's title in your LittleSnapper library.

All-inclusive Snaps

fullpage_websnapNot only does LittleSnapper capture an image of the entire webpage: it also stores a fully-viewable web archive of the page complete with the HTML that powers the page. This comes in handy when you want to view the code, or export it to PDF later.

Easily Accessed

Whatever you’re busy doing, you’ll always be able to take a snap using the global keyboard shortcuts and menu-bar item. If you’re visiting a website you want to capture the current page, a simple customisable keyboard shortcut allows you to capture the page without leaving your browser.
